Last summer I deeply enjoyed my time at TBEX in Stockholm. I had been wanting to go to Sweden for a long time, because Scandinavian design is one of my most favorite things ever. Stockholm turned out to be a great choice for me – in more ways than one.

Even though prices are high here, Stockholm is still a city worth splurging for if you have the space in your bank account. And summer? Is by faaaaaar the best season to enjoy absolutely everything the Swedish capital has to offer visitors. Boat rides to the Archipelago, soaking up the late night sun, comfortable temperatures for sight-seeing, scenic walks through the Old Town. I could ramble on and on and on, but this is the internet, and I know you’d get bored if I threw up walls of text about Stockholm’s awesomeness.

Don’t worry. Long paragraphs make my eyes glaze over too.

Seriously, I loved all my experiences in Stockholm!  As a solo female traveler, the city was easy to navigate, and everyone I encountered was super duper friendly. And like I said, the warmer months are gorgeous. The entire city springs to life.

So I hope these twenty-five photos, taken all over the city, inspire you to book your own Stockholm stay for this summer.

I love Stockholm, it is one of my favourite European capitals to explore, winter or summer. Need to go back and do the ABBA museum. Loving your photos of the Gamla Stan, that has brought back a lot of happy memories for me 🙂

Lovely photos that bring back great memories! I really love Stockholm (and northern Sweden, too) and couldn’t agree more about feeling safe as a solo traveler. My favorite was seeing the cities waterways and learning all about the Vasa! The Old Town was a great place to wander through all the cobblestone streets, explore the little shops, and stop for fika!

Stockholm looks so charming and love your photography. Out of sheer curiosity, I have to ask, what is that small statue with the coins? Is there a story behind it? The cafes looks so cute! And despite being summer, I love that Stolkholm does not seem overly crowded!
